Cambridge Behavioral Health Services is a private community mental health practice that provides comprehensive services and supports (medication management, outpatient, community-based, day treatment, and residential treatment ) to children, families, and adults.

The organization, which was formerly named Child & Adolescent Counseling Services, Inc., was formed in July 2001 and began providing community mental health counseling services in October 2001 in an office suite on Arlington Boulevard in Greenville, North Carolina.
Due to the growth of the business and the expansion of services, the name was changed to Cambridge Behavioral Health Services, PLLC in October 2002.

The physical location was moved to a larger facility on South Memorial Drive in May 2003. The South Memorial Dr. facility is the corporate office, and a satellite clinic is located at 132 N Englewood Dr, Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

The CBHS continuum of mental health services includes:

The company has an administrative branch and a clinical branch. This organizational structure ensures that the company is managed efficiently and effectively so as to provide quality services and supports.
Cambridge is established and well known locally as a high quality and solid provider of mental health services. Cambridge is composed of well trained staff and managed by a strong organizational structure. In addition Cambridge is comprised of participatory and active internal committees, and the agency is also affiliated with local, regional and state professional organizations.
